World's largest offshore wind power field
The associated press just released an article http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gKKMToZH4Copi6tl92_gy2rF4XewD9IDO6V80 about how England just finished the World's largest turbine wind farm offshore. The farm could produce enough power to provide power to around 200,000. This could be the testing ground to the future of power and potentially an idea to look for in the future

Driving up and down 55 I always pass the windmill farm not to far from ISU. Not only is it cool to look at but it is also pretty interesting to note the advancements that are taking place in our own communities. I don't know exactly where the energy created there is used or who uses it, but apparently it seems to be working and is slowly becoming more notable across the world.
ReplyDeleteI think that any advancement that we can make to use reusable energy is great and I think the idea of wind farms are really cool and its great that we have smart people in this world that can think of things like this. This world is all we have and we have to start doing more to take care of it.
